Join Moya Cole Hospice and take on the Manchester Marathon in 2026 to help raise vital funds for our hospice!

Story

I'm running on behalf of Moya Cole Hospice (St Ann's) in several marathons this year and currently signed up for Manchester, Hamburg, Leeds, Cybi Anglesey, York and others yet to come.

Family and friends have been affected with cancer over the last year and I wanted to show my support.

I have previously completed several other marathons for this charity, and they have always been very supportive. You actually see how every penny can make such a huge difference and such a worthy cause.

My training is going to plan and running on a regular basis. Hopefully the 400 planned training miles in preparation will get me through and hoping the 26.2 miles will be kind to me on the day!

If you would like to sponsor me, please visit the page below. All donations will be appreciated and will go towards Moya Cole (St Ann's) Hospice in helping care for thousands of local people with cancer and non-cancer life-limiting illnesses every year.

An amazing cause that provides incredible care to patients with life-limiting illnesses and supports their families and carers across Greater Manchester.

Moya Cole Hospice is a lifeline for many, but with only a third of their funding coming from the NHS, they need to raise £20,000 each day to continue providing their essential services and compassionate care.

Every step I take will help the charity provide essential care for patients and their families. Please support me by donating what you can.

£10.85 could help to continue providing TVs and WiFi for inpatients to enjoy during their stay.

£20.60 could pay for a hand or foot massage with one of their therapists to help a patient or carer relax.

£30.60 could pay for a bereavement session for a loved one with their specialist team.

Thank you for your support!
