I am hoping to raise money for two charities that are close to my heart, Macmillan Cancer Support, who help so many through the hardest of times and The British Horse Society scheme 'Changing Lives through Horses' This scheme aims to improve the lives of disengaged young people, regardless of their background and give them the opportunity to develop skills that enable them to return to education and/or employment. Over 4100 young people have benefitted through the power of horses, gaining key life skills, empowering them to achieve and build their self-esteem.

On October 31st, I’ll be taking on an exciting new challenge—riding in a charity flat race at Wetherby Racecourse! 🐎🎃

The race is over one mile, and I’ve already started riding out with a point-to-point trainer to prepare. This experience is completely new to me, learning to ride in a totally different style and at a much faster pace than I’m used to. For those who know me, I’m definitely not known for my speed on a horse... but this challenge is all about pushing boundaries, and who knows? By the end of it, I might just fall in love with going fast!
