A year ago the thought of being able to do a tandem skydive was a pipe dream. At over 18st I was too heavy to be able to do one. Fast forward just over 12 months, and over 5st lighters it’s now possible!

I first did a tandem skydive 19 years ago. I’ve wanted to do another but knew the restrictions around weight were an obstacle.

Not any more! So here we go!

I’m fundraising for St Catherine’s Hospice in Crawley; a local charity with a big ambition – to make sure nobody faces death and loss alone.

The hospice relies on donations to offer pioneering end of life care and support to people in Sussex and East Surrey.
