Story
Second go at this with my trustee side kick Reg the spaniel (see cover photo from last year with 2 miles to go, I'm in the distant background on my hands and knees), beleive me this is a long walk but a great day and hopefully will raise a pile of cash for St Richards wonderful hospice. On a serious note these hospices are incredible and they offer a little comfort for our loved ones at what can be a desperate time.
Anyway if you see me don't buy me a pint but donate the cash here.
Setting off in early morning in Bewdley around and finishing by night fall in Malvern, for the annual 31 hilly miles in a day challenge (for the mad walkers!), but new in 2024, we are also offered the same walk over 2 days, with camping at the 20 mile point!
In 2024, 130 people took part raising in excess of £28,000 after costs, to fund its valuable work. Although some of the terrain will be challenging, walkers will enjoy the beautiful Worcestershire countryside and certainly finish with a great sense of achievement.
St Richards Hospice relies on donations to fund our free care and are extremely grateful to all those in the community who support us so we can continue our work helping patients and families when they need us most.
Please know that your very kind donation and belief will ensure each walker can complete their challenge and it will help them every step of the way.
