There she sees first-hand how very important to so many people experiencing medical crises, acute or chronic, and to their dear ones, this spiritual support can be.

The University Hospitals Dorset (UHD) NHS Foundation Trust provides multi-faith chaplaincy services for patients, carers, and staff at Royal Bournemouth, Poole, and Christchurch hospitals.

Chaplains and the team of volunteer assistants provide spiritual, religious, and pastoral support, on wards and in their offices, and in on-site prayer rooms and chapels where they also hold services.
