Story

I've been a volunteer & Operational Team Member with NSART; Nottinghamshire Search & Rescue Team for six years. We're currently over two thirds of the way towards raising the required £30,000 to buy & equip our new mobile control centre. But we now need your help to raise the final £10,000. What ever you can spare will be greatly appreciated.

I'm competing in a 5 day, 137 mile ultra marathon in the Mojave Desert, Nevada, USA in October & there's over 20,000 feet of climbing. So I'm using this as a fund raising vehicle to help buy us a vehicle!

Every time the call comes in, Nottinghamshire Search and Rescue Team drops everything to help find missing and vulnerable people. They’re volunteers—ordinary people doing extraordinary work, often in the worst conditions. Their incident control van is the heart of every mission, coordinating teams and keeping everyone safe. But their current van is failing. It’s old, unreliable, and no longer fit for purpose. They urgently need £30,000 to fund a new control vehicle, fully equipped to support life-saving operations. This isn’t just a van—it’s a lifeline. With a new vehicle, they can respond faster, work smarter, and save more lives. I’m fundraising to help them stay mission ready. Every donation helps. Please support them.
