We cycled many miles through the Oxfordshire countryside on a very hot day in May to raise funds for the amazing charity, Onwards & Upwards - and XO Bikes.

XO Bikes is the first venture from Onwards & Upwards, a charity set up to break the cycle of re-offending and offer new chances in life.

XO Bikes trains and hires prison leavers, giving them the skills to become professional bike mechanics.

From their workshop in Lewisham, SE London, they refurbish and sell donated bikes. All profits from bike sales go towards training and hiring more prison leavers.
