Dogs Trust is Ireland’s largest dog welfare charity. We opened our rehoming centre in Dublin in November 2009 and have since rehomed over 4,500 dogs and puppies. We also offer national neutering and education campaigns as well as advising Government on any matters concerning dog ownership.

Story

Dogs have always had a special place in our home. To us, they are not just pets, they are family. They bring love, loyalty, comfort, laughter and companionship into everyday life. No matter what kind of day you are having, a dog has a way of making everything feel lighter.

We have two dogs, Grace and Zorro, and we genuinely could not imagine life without them. They are part of our routine, our home and our hearts. They remind us every day of the bond between people and animals, and of the happiness that dogs bring when they are safe, loved and cared for.

Our own dog Zorro was rehomed with us six years ago, and he has become such an important part of our family. His story is a constant reminder that every dog deserves a second chance. A loving home can completely change a dog’s life, and in many ways, they change ours too.

That is why this fundraiser means so much to us. PH FITNESS is taking on this cycling marathon in aid of Dogs Trust Ireland to support the incredible work they do for dogs and puppies across Ireland. Every kilometre cycled is for dogs like Zorro, and every donation helps give more dogs the care, safety and loving home they deserve.
