Keith Bullock and Philippa Bullock are taking on one of the Abbott World Marathon Majors – the Chicago Marathon! Running in support of MS-UK, a charity close to their hearts.

MS-UK is a small, independent charity founded in 1993. It exists to empower people affected by multiple sclerosis (MS)—helping them live life to the fullest, today and every day. The charity places those living with MS at the centre of everything they do, offering a range of vital support services, including:

-MS Helpline: Providing confidential, specialist information and emotional support.

-MS-UK Counselling Service: A professional, accredited counselling programme specifically tailored for people living with MS.

-Online support and community spaces: Helping people stay connected, informed, and understood.

-Lifestyle and wellbeing resources: Offering guidance to help manage symptoms and maintain quality of life.

These services rely heavily on donations, and fundraising like ours directly sustains them.

What is Multiple Sclerosis (MS)?

MS is a lifelong neurological condition that affects the brain and spinal cord. The immune system mistakenly attacks the protective covering of the nerves, causing a wide range of symptoms such as fatigue, mobility issues, muscle spasms, pain, and problems with vision or balance. MS is unpredictable and affects everyone differently—there is currently no cure, but charities like MS-UK play a crucial role in helping people manage and navigate life with the condition.

Our Goal

We have a combined fundraising target of £4,400, with every penny going directly to MS-UK.

All flights and accommodation for the marathon are entirely self-funded.
