Story
Alright Brownies! (We’re starting a fan club, and if you’ve read this far, you’re in it!)
Yes, it’s true... the Brown Brothers are back together.
From a poorly timed like on my Strava profile, I somehow convinced Chris (the two-time marathon'er, seasoned pro, and all round fitter Brown) to join me on my inaugural, and possibly career defining moment in competitive running: the Manchester Half Marathon, in aid of St Ann’s Hospice.
St Ann’s Hospice provide incredible care to people with life-limiting illnesses and support to their families across Greater Manchester. They need to raise £20,000 every single day to keep going - and that’s where your donations come in.
We’ll bring the sweat (spoiler: i will bring a lot), you bring the generosity. Together, we’ll turn dodgy pacing, neon shoes, and a probably rainy Manchester morning into something genuinely meaningful.
So dig deep, join the fan club, and help us give St Ann’s the support they need - because if I can survive 13.1 miles in short shorts, you can definitely spare a fiver.
Thank you all in advance!
Piers and Chris
