On 31st December 2025, our dear friend and colleague, Bekki, sadly passed away at Wakefield Hospice after a short battle with cancer. In her final days, she was cared for with compassion, dignity, and kindness by the incredible staff there, for which we will always be grateful.

Bekki had a true zest for life, and her passion shone through in everything she did. She brought warmth, positivity, and dedication to our team, and we are truly honoured to have known her and to have worked alongside her. She is deeply missed by all at Brigantes PCN, and Outwood Park Medical Centre where Bekki worked for nearly 5 years.

To honour Bekki’s memory, we are taking part in the Wakefield Hospice 10K, raising funds to help the hospice continue its vital work. Wakefield Hospice provides essential care and support to patients and their families during some of life’s most challenging moments, offering comfort, guidance, and compassion when it matters most.
