Story
💜 We are supporting the NI Children’s Hospice as a family by taking part in a fundraising event to celebrate 25 years of the NI Children's Hospice.

We are completing the fun, friendly-family colour run on Saturday 27th June 2026 at the Titanic Slipways Belfast in loving memory of a much-missed precious son and special brother.
The NI Children's Hospice provides specialist care and support for babies, children, and young people with life-limiting and life-threatening conditions across Northern Ireland.
By fundraising, we are helping to raise much needed funds to ensure the NI Children’s Hospice can continue delivering compassionate, specialist care to children and families when they need it most.
As a family the support we received from the NI Children's hospice made all the difference. Andrew received respite care and the best VIP treatment when he had a break at the hospice. While there he loved being able to go swimming in the Hydrotherapy pool and chill out in the amazing sensory room. We treasure all the artwork he made during his stays at the hospice.
On a regular basis we had a hospice at home nurse complete a night shift in our home. We really looked forward to knowing we could switch off for the night and get some much-needed sleep knowing Andrew was being well looked after. We also benefited from some day shifts which meant while Andrew was being looked after in his favourite place at home, we were able to have some time out with Elsie and do every day activities that where not otherwise possible.
Our hospice nurses really got to know Andrew & us as a family, and we greatly appreciated the support we received from the hospice during his life.
Every donation no matter how small will make a real difference and support hospice care for children across Northern Ireland.
We are looking forward to taking part in this event and doing some fundraising with Elsie who still talks about and remembers her brother every single day.
Thank you.
Love from Rachel, Scott & Elsie
