Story

Support NI Children’s Hospice - Join the Purple Dash

We’re inviting you, your family, friends, schools, and workplaces to take part in the Purple Dash in support of the NI Children’s Hospice.

This is a fun, inclusive fundraising event where everyone comes together dressed in purple to walk, jog, run or dance and raise vital funds for children and babies with life-limiting conditions across Northern Ireland.

The NI Children’s Hospice provides specialist palliative care for babies, children, and young people with complex and life-limiting conditions.

We support families through some of the most difficult journeys imaginable, offering not only nursing care, but also emotional, social, and practical support.

Care is delivered in the hospice, and in families’ own homes, ensuring comfort, dignity, and quality of life, wherever it is needed.

The Purple Dash is more than just a fun run or walk, it is a chance for the whole community to come together and make a real difference.

Every step taken and every pound raised helps us continue providing:

- Specialist children’s palliative care

- Short breaks and respite for families

- Emotional and bereavement support

- 24/7 care for children with complex needs

“Every family deserves the very best care, no matter how short or uncertain the journey.”
