QB Wood Architect's Bike Ride and Walk for RDA · 11 August 2023

Our Group provides general therapeutic riding classes which benefit both adults and children with various disabilities. They can enjoy riding while they improve their muscle strength, balance, motor skills and generally enjoy the outdoors.

Story

QB Wood Architects chosen charity for 2023 is West Lothian Group Riding for the Disabled. On the 11th of August we will be taking part in a cycle around the Forth. Those who aren't cyclists will be taking part in a 10 mile walk to Blackness castle from the office.

West Lothian RDA is one of around 500 groups across the UK who provide therapeutic riding sessions for adults and young people with physical and/or learning difficulties. They provide therapy, fitness, skills development and opportunities for achievement. The simple pleasure of working with horses is the cornerstone of all RDA’s activities. From that starting point everything else follows be that freedom of movement, gaining confidence, building relationships, receiving life-enhancing therapy or achieving individual goals. Participants benefit from improvements in muscle strength, balance, motor skills in an outdoor environment.

Please give what you can to support this important cause. Every donation is much appreciated.
