CEI is thrilled to announce the second Qx Masterclass: an exclusive evening with Professor MAS Abdel Haleem, SOAS Professor of Islamic Studies and world-renowned English translator of the Qur’an, alongside Dr. Saquab Ashraf, founder of CEI, Qur’an scholar, and former student of Professor Abdel Haleem.
Both will present their work on Sura al-Hadid (Q. 57).
WHAT IS A Qx MASTERCLASS?
Qx Masterclasses offer an in-depth afternoon study of a single Qur’anic sura—its key concepts, structure, and themes—through two complementary lenses: traditional teaching and academic analysis.
Led by Dr S. Ashraf and a guest expert, each session features guided readings, contextual exploration, and scholarly insight. Held twice a year on Sundays (1–5 pm), sessions are open for both in-person and online attendance.
