I've taken on an exciting challenge to raise $6,000 for ArtsConnection, an organization that is deeply important to me. Your support would mean so much to young learners across the city.

My relationship with ArtsConnection started years ago as a Teen Programs Student Art Program and Teens Curate Teens artist participant, then grew as I became an intern, an alumni, and now a full-time staff member. I’ve seen firsthand how transformative arts education can be. It’s not just inspiring. It changes learning outcomes, confidence, and futures.

But the need is urgent.

Nationally, nearly 70% of fourth graders from under resourced communities are struggling to read. Research proves linking learning and the arts, works! ArtsConnection’s Bridges to Literacy model harnesses the power of puppetry arts and theater to bring language to life while deepening comprehension and increasing vocabulary.

Our goal of $6,000 supports Bridges to Literacy professional learning for 50 educators across NYC schools.
