I will be running the London Marathon in April 2025 for Kidney Care UK, a charity that is the UK's leading kidney patient support charity. They work tirelessly to improve kidney care, support those affected by kidney disease and push for advances in treatment.

My very dear friend has just undergone her THIRD kidney transplant.....yes THIRD transplant. I can't imagine how it must feel to go through one kidney transplant, let alone 3, and that's without the added pressure of your close family member donating their kidney. Her Dad was the first to donate, 31 years ago, then her Mum and now her brother. I will be training, running and raising as much money as I can as my way of letting them all know how in awe of them I am.

Kidney Care UK gives fantastic support to families of people living with Chronic Kidney Disease.

Their vision is that no one should face chronic kidney disease alone.

Their mission is to improve the quality of life for everyone affected by kidney disease.
