As those who have been following my progress I had to retire from my walk in August with a damaged Achilles Tendon. My tendon is almost better and I now plan to continue my fund raising by cycling from home to Santiago starting on the 24th of April 2024. I hope you will follow my progress and continue helping me to raise funds for MND.

Rachael passed away from MND in late 2022. To celebrate her life I will be walking from Norwich, where we met in 1979, to Santiago de Compostela a walk that we have done parts of together over the years. See my route in the gallery.

My walk will start at 8 am on the 1st of August 2023 from Norwich Cathedral and end in Santiago de Compostela in mid-November, just over 1300 miles. My fund-raising target is to raise 1p for every step, so how many steps will you help me take?

The money raised will help fund research in to MND and to the Suffolk MND Support Group, so that others can have a longer and happier life.

Rachael took part in various drug studies, knowing that they would not help her and would wish that this work is continued to help others in the future. The monies raised will be shared 80% for research and 20% to the Suffolk MND Support Group.
