I am taking part in Faith in Schools' Living Water Sponsored Walk around Newham Churches and schools on Saturday 13th June 2026.

This year, we will enjoy local riverside scenery, refresh community connections as well as raise funds for local pupils to meet Christians and visit churches.

Together, we aim to raise at least £10,000 and hope to encourage many others to walk alongside us. Help us by spreading the word, sponsorship or joining! Without this money we can not continue the work of the charity.

My own children have received lessons and have said that the team brought the lessons to life and were really enjoyable and looked forward to when the team came into their school

The walk is 10 miles long and the 'blue' route follows the River Lea, Bow Creek, River Thames, across King George V Dock to Gallions Point Marina.

Our start point is Timber Lodge, 1A Honour Lea Avenue, E20 1DY at 10am.
