I’m running the Manchester half marathon to raise funds for Teenage Cancer Trust. It’s not till the moment you need this charity that you realise it’s importance, the support physically and mentally they give to the young person diagnosed and their family is huge.
Layla is one of only 50 people under the age of 16 to be diagnosed with Hodgkins Lymphoma in the UK per year. She started her programme of 6 months of Chemotherapy at the end of September and may need a course of radiotherapy when the chemo has finished.
Harry and some of his friends are going to swim a mile for a ‘move a mile’ challenge throughout February to help with the fundraising.
