This is a charity I have so much belief in! Their message is SO important…

!CHECK YOUR CHEST!

If you’ve not heard of them - Coppafeel! are breast cancer awareness charity, on a mission to stamp out the late diagnosis of breast cancer by making sure that young people are regularly checking their boobs, pecs and chests and getting to know their bodies in order to have the confidence to see their GP if something just doesn't feel normal.

This message was drilled into me 5 years ago by a friend (Shout out to Emma B 🩷💜) when she did this exact charity trek. Safe to say this message works! After finding a lump and being diagnosed with breast cancer in May 2023, here I am after chemotherapy, mastectomy and radiotherapy treatment all finished and no more cancer! I can truly say if it wasn’t for Emma and Coppafeel! I may never have found that lump, and this story could’ve been different!

It been rough, and still is sometimes. My life path has completely changed due to that diagnosis. But I’m grateful for my outcome and excited for this Trek, determined to make my new life path equally, if not more fulfilling! I need to reach as many people as possible with this message so more and more people can identify symptoms early, feel brave enough to go to their GP, strong enough to face treatment and say they got through it!

To spread the message and raise funds, this November, I will set out on a challenging, extraordinary and I expect life-changing trek, all in the name of checking chests! Along with Gi Fletcher and some other famous faces, I will embark on a 5 day trek in the Indian Himalayas!
