I’m hiking up Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon) on 18 September 2026 with the NHS Blood and Transplant Charity to celebrate and recognise the incredible impact of organ donation. This is a meaningful way for me to show support for the work that happens throughout every transplant journey.

A close friend of mine was diagnosed with dilated cardiomyopathy, and in 2023 her heart was functioning at just 10-15%. A heart transplant gave her a new life, and I feel fortunate to still have her with me today and to be able to do this challenge alongside her. Her journey has shown me just how important organ donation is, and how much hope it can bring to patients and families.

I have set a fundraising target of £200 to help the NHS continue pushing the boundaries of transplantation. Any donations go towards funding essential medical equipment, staff training, patient care, and new research to improve transplant outcomes.
