We are The Acapulco Club, we are on a mission to get Raymond to the Rob Burrows Leeds Marathon 2024!

Incase you don’t know who Raymond is, he a familiar face to most people who has been out drinking or running in Halifax since the early 80s.

Raymond enjoys his weekends partying at the Acca and is a very popular face in Halifax.

Raymond’s passion for running spans generations. Born in the 1950s, Raymond has been a dedicated marathon runner. He has run a Marathon in each of the last 5 decades. So he wants to complete one this decade.

Raymond wants to take part in the Rob Burrows Leeds Marathon! So we are going to try make this possible for him.

We want the people of Halifax help to sponsor Raymond on his Marathon.

£120 could provide an overbed table, making it easier for someone with MND to eat, drink and read safely and comfortably in bed

£280 could fund the coordination of care for someone with MND at a Care Centre for a year

£500 could provide a tablet device with specialist communication software, allowing someone to communicate with loved ones

Every penny raised from The Rob Burrow Leeds Marathon will bring us closer to achieving our ultimate mission; a world free from MND.
