Danielle Krohn, Hannah Hartley, Charlotte Bradbrook, Kat Thorogood and Lushan Sun from LGIM Real Assets are taking part in pedElle 2023! Over three days in June, we will be riding over 400km through Slovenia, including climbing over 6,000m along the way.

We will be fundraising for Club Peloton (clubpeloton.org), a charity and real estate cycling community transforming the lives of vulnerable young people. Since 2006, it has given £4.5 million in grants to projects that make a real difference. The funds raised through pedElle will support the vital work of Coram (www.coram.org.uk), Club Peloton’s main charity beneficiary, as well as Cyclists Fighting Cancer, MSA Trust and Tom's Trust. Coram champions the rights and welfare of children and believes every child should have the best chance of a fulfilling life. Coram helps hundreds of thousands of vulnerable children and young people every single year by developing skills, building emotional strength, upholding children's rights and finding adoptive parents for those in the greatest need.

We were all keen to take on the challenge for a great cause, Danielle is a keen cyclist, with this being her third pedElle. Hannah and Lushan have come back for more after pedElle 2022 (apparently 16km wasn't quite enough for Hannah last time…). Charlotte and Kat are both new to pedElle, with Charlotte using this event as motivation to take up cycling for the first time. For all of us, the last few months have been filled with gruelling training rides, hill climbs and copious amounts of jelly babies.
