Georgia’s 2025 Charity Challenge

Georgia Lewin is raising money for Beat

A charity challenge each month

Beat is the UK’s eating disorder charity. Our mission is to end the pain and suffering caused by eating disorders. These serious mental illnesses ruin and, too often, take lives. Our Helpline is available online or by phone for anyone suffering, as well as their family and friends.

Story

Hello! For the past five years, I've been battling a severe binge eating disorder - a mental illness that's often misunderstood, hidden, and deeply isolating.

With the incredible support of Orri, a specialist eating disorder treatment clinic, I've been on the challenging but hopeful journey of recovery.

Turning 30 last year was a bittersweet milestone. I've spent so much of my twenties consumed by this illness, and now I'm determined to reclaim my thirties. That's why, in 2025, I'll be taking on one charity challenge every month to raise awareness and funds for this cause that's so close to my heart. I’ll be doing the charity challenges with the people who continue to support me in my recovery!

Binge eating disorder affects countless lives, yet it remains one of the least talked-about eating disorders. Through these challenges, I hope to shine a light on it, reduce the stigma, and inspire others to seek help.

Your support - whether it’s donations or simply sharing this page - means the world to me. Together, we can amplify this message and help more people understand that recovery is possible.

Thank you for being part of this journey with me and helping me reclaim my thirties - here’s to a charity challenge every month in 2025!
