As we all know, a devastating earthquake has struck central Morocco, leaving thousands dead and many more missing. The epicentre is in Al Haouz, where CARE is already working to provide life-saving assistance. Their team is on the ground assessing the immediate needs of those affected, so that they can provide meals, safe water supply, emergency shelter and medical support.

Your help is urgently needed to make sure these families get the support they need. I am personally doing a 100 miles walk during September/October to raise £1,000 for CARE's relief efforts in Morocco.

I know that many of you must have already donated to help these earthquake victims. However I am CERTAIN that you will put your hands in your pockets and purses again to support me in meeting or even exceeding my target of raising £1000.

Until now I have always done the easy thing of clicking my finger to put money in the account of a charity, donating to friends’ fundraisers’ efforts etc. This is the first time I have decided to use my love of walking for a worthwhile cause.

Please donate whatever you can. No amount is too little because little droplets make rivers and oceans.
