A large earthquake has hit central Morocco. Thousands of people have been killed, with fears the death toll will rise significantly, as many more remain missing. The epicentre is in Al Haouz where CARE is already working.

Our incredibly dedicated team in Morocco is in the area and is working with partners to assess immediate needs so we can provide the best response possible. Our priority is to provide meals, safe water supply, emergency shelter and medical support to families that have been impacted by the earthquake.
