I decided to start the Reindeer Doorstep Visits with my daughters pony as a way to spread Christmas Cheer throughout our local community.

Narla and I will be walking on 4 different dates through December visiting Children and delivering Christmas Eve Boxes. We will currently be covering around 30km.

I wanted to do something useful with the profits and decided what better way than supporting a charity that knows Every child matters.

Barnardos are a fantastic charity that support vulnerable children across the UK. Helping hundreds of thousands of children, young people, parents and carers. They support projects that help some of the most vulnerable young people to live a happy and healthy life, free from abuse and exploitation. Their work supports thousands of children who have experienced adverse life events, helping children to recover from the impacts of abuse and supporting each child to reach their full potential.

Out of every £1.00 donated, 92p goes directly to supporting children who need their help most.

In 2023 Barnardo’s supported 357,276 children, young people, parents and carers. They reached:

- 6,333 children through their child abuse and exploitation services

- 1,112 children in care

- 2,788 care leavers

- 89,647 through early support

- 168,342 through family support

- 50,081 children with mental health support

- They found new homes for 124 children through their adoption services and supported 976 young people to live with foster carers.
