Street Child are delighted to announce that the generous fundraising from The City of London School for Girls will enable the construction of the first school at the heart of the Deabo Saykilken community in River Gee County in southern Liberia. This will provide the opportunity for at least 70 children to go to school for the first time ever this September!

Through the construction of a three classroom school and teacher

training provision, children in this community will gain access to their

first safe and sustained school experience. Presently, the children

of Deabo Saykilken have no access to education facilities.

The proposed construction of the three-classroom school will mark the first educational infrastructure in this community.

THANKS TO THE INCREDIBLE SUPPORT AND KIND GENEROSITY OF THE CITY OF LONDON SCHOOL FOR GIRLS, THESE CHILDREN WILL HAVE THE TRANSFORMATIVE OPPORTUNITY TO ATTEND SCHOOL FOR THE FIRST TIME IN SEPTEMBER 2024.
