London Marathon 2025 · 27 April 2025 ·

Support our KAB runners at the London Marathon, which takes place on Sunday 27th April. Our team of runners are supporting a great cause, helping children and adults who have a sight impairment.

Story

I'm joining #TeamKAB in the London Marathon in 2025. I am aiming to raise £1,600, which will make a huge difference to the charity that supports sight impaired children and adults to live more independently.

Having worked at KAB as a rehabilitation worker since November 2022 I have first hand experience of the fantastic work that KAB does on a day to day basis. Whether it's supporting someone who has recently lost their sight to adapt to a new way of life, teaching new skills such as mobility to allow people to continue to be independent or educating people on how to navigate the minefield that is assisted technology, the work that KAB does makes a huge difference.

Sight loss does not discriminate and I feel privileged to be able to take on something as massive as the London Marathon to raise money so that KAB can continue to do the work that it does.

I would be beyond appreciative to be supported taking on this massive challenge and if you can donate, I cannot thank you enough.
