We are a group of friends raising money for Tommy's, a charity that provides vital support, information, and research for those affected by miscarriage, pregnancy loss, and premature birth.

We are taking on this challenge (and a challenge it will be!!) to help raise awareness and funds for families who are navigating some of the most difficult moments imaginable. Every donation will help Tommy’s continue their incredible work supporting people through pregnancy and baby loss, funding lifesaving research, and campaigning for better care.

This cause is especially close to our hearts because of Emma’s experience:

“This cause is deeply personal to me. In April of this year, I suffered my second miscarriage at 11 weeks. After waiting seven days for an appointment, I was advised to return to the hospital ten days later for repeat scans and confirmation. Beyond an apology, I was sent home with little support or guidance. Just three days later, I suffered multiple haemorrhages and required emergency surgery.

During this incredibly difficult time, Tommy’s helped me to understand what had happened and provided the compassion, information, and support that I had been unable to access through the hospital.

My hope is that women’s concerns — and both their physical and mental wellbeing — are taken seriously, with appropriate care and support offered before pregnancy and at every stage afterwards. No woman should have to wait until a third loss before receiving the help, investigations, and care she deserves.”
