Story
I work for a fabulous organisation called Dimensions and this year Dimensions celebrates 50 years of not-for-profit support for people with learning disabilities… and we’re doing something special to celebrate this milestone by introducing the Small Sparks Grants.
To mark our 50th birthday we aim to give out 50 “Small Sparks” grants to people we support. We want to find new ways to support autistic people and people with learning disabilities to be ambitious in their lives. People might apply for a Small Sparks grant to help them find work, create friendship groups, develop hobbies or improve independence.
I am fundraising for the Dimensions Small Sparks Fund by doing a 50km run/jog/walk or crawl during the month of March. I am going to get my running shoes on and aim to achieve 12 and half km each week and by the 31st of March, to have completed 5Okm
If you could help transform people's lives by supporting me - even as little as a £1 donation would make a difference. The more we raise, the more Dimensions can give out – and Dimensions promises that every penny raised will be given back in Small Sparks grants. Nothing will go on administration.
So if you see me running or walking round Orpington Kent, why not come join me.
