Story
I'm running the London Landmarks Half Marathon to help raise awareness and life changing funds for children and young people with epilepsy.
In April 2017, my family's world was shattered as we unfortunately heard the news that my little cousin Ben had passed away at the age of 21 due to Epilepsy. Cousins are your first and best friends you make in life and this is certainly the case for me.
Epilepsy doesn't get the coverage it should and a small amount of information and fund raising really can be of use, 600,000 people live with Epilepsy in the U.K and I'm aiming to help.
I would really appreciate it if you could help me along the way and make a small donation to Young Epilepsy, as I prepare to train and somehow run 13.1 miles through London in 2026.
Your contribution will make an impact, whether you donate £5 or £500, every little bit helps. Thank you for your support!
Together, we create possible.
Epilepsy can be one of the most frightening and isolating conditions a young person can experience. The loss of any sense of safety, trapped in an unpredictable world, not knowing when their next seizure will happen.
All this takes its toll on a child's mental and physical health, and they miss out. Your donation will help improve research, treatment and practical support for children and young people living with epilepsy. Thank you!
