My son was one of them, and spent the majority of his teens in and out of The royal Free hospital before becoming an adult. His care was then taken over by Queens hospital and privately through the Hartswood hospital, where we met an amazing Surgeon Clive Hepworth who carried out 2 major operations over a couple of years, leaving my son with a stoma before his 19th Birthday . He has now been able to have a life, and is now excelling in his current career.
