Story
This October, I'm taking on the National Kidney Federation's Kick a Habit for Kidney Disease challenge to help change the lives of people living with kidney disease.
For 31 days, I'll be kick starting a habit to raise vital funds for the NKF – a charity run by kidney patients, for kidney patients. I will start training by walking and running to lose weight and get fit in preparation of completing the 15K including obstacles on the Yorkshire Tough mudder , 24th July 2027. I will be doing this challenge along with my son Harry. We will be continuing every week until July next year with our training regime, October is just kick starting the habit and we will update regularly with our progress whilst raising funds for The Kidney disease foundation.
Thankyou for everyone that supports us on our journey over the next 10 months.
Every day, thousands of people across the UK face the challenges of chronic kidney disease. Many rely on the NKF's Patient Helpline and Information Service for trusted advice, practical information and emotional peer support when they need it most.
I'm taking on this challenge to help ensure no one has to face kidney disease alone. Every donation, no matter how big or small, will help the NKF continue providing life-changing support to kidney patients and their families.
If you're able to, please sponsor me and help make a real difference. Thank you so much for your support – it really does mean the world.
