The Network's Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge · 30 August 2024 ·

We're taking on the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge this summer, trekking 24 miles and climbing over 5000ft to raise vital funds for those facing poverty throughout Liverpool

Story

I am taking on the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge this August to raise funds for St Andrew's Community Network.

Thousands of people are struggling to make ends meet and are living in poverty. St Andrew's Community Network provide vital provision and advice to these people, and last year alone, they:

- gave 752 people debt advice, managing £6.3million worth of debt

- supported 693 with welfare benefits advice, leading to an overall annual income increase of £638,087

- provided 14,274 people - including 4,913 children - with emergency food parcels through our foodbanks

- supported their communities through their pantries, with 22,742 shops made across the network saving members over £363,000 in grocery costs

Need is continually increasing, and it has never been more important for us to support those struggling in our communities. Every single penny raised will go towards the Network's vital, life-changing work.
