Riding for Legend Lee and Queen Victoria Hospital

Marcus Anderson is raising money for Queen Victoria Hospital NHS Foundation Trust Charitable Fund

100 mile virtual bike ride

Queen Victoria Hospital provides life-changing surgery and care to every NHS patient who needs us. With your support QVH can do even more to help rebuild lives such as making improvements to patient environments, purchasing items for the benefit of patients, and supporting research.

Story

Recently, Lee faced one of life’s toughest challenges: a cancer diagnosis that led to not one, but two major surgeries. The first was a pinectomy (ear removal). But unfortunately, the cancer returned and Lee underwent an even more complex and intrusive operation. Throughout this journey, Queen Victoria Hospital in East Grinstead has been a beacon of hope, providing Lee with world-class care, compassion, and rapid action when it mattered most.

Now, as Lee recovers from the latest surgery and an intensive course of radiotherapy, I want to give back to the hospital that has given so much to Lee and countless others.

That's why I’m taking on a 100-mile virtual bike ride in Lee’s honour to raise vital funds for Queen Victoria Hospital.

Queen Victoria Hospital is renowned for its expertise in life-changing surgeries and its commitment to rebuilding lives. Donations to the hospital’s charity fund help provide cutting-edge medical equipment, improve patient environments, and support the wellbeing of the dedicated staff who make miracles happen everyday. With your support, we can ensure that more patients like Lee receive the care, dignity, and hope they deserve.

Every contribution, big or small, makes a real difference. By supporting this fundraiser, you’re not just honouring Lee’s journey, you’re helping Queen Victoria Hospital continue its life-changing work for patients and families across our community.

Please join me in supporting this incredible cause. Together, we can help rebuild lives one mile, one donation, and one act of kindness at a time.
