Sadly, in July 2024 we lost our beloved Rina Shah.

We are very grateful to the team at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, who worked tirelessly to give Rina the care she needed. Sloan Kettering is known for its patient-centered approach and evidence-based methods that combine traditional treatments with alternative practices like mind-body techniques, natural remedies, and lifestyle changes.

MSK is renowned as one of the top cancer centers in the US, and a global leader in understanding and treating cancer. Their doctors are currently leading numerous clinical trials for both pediatric and adult cancers. However, for more rare and hard to treat cancers, more research is required for improved treatments and outcomes.

From radiation therapy to chemotherapy, immunotherapy to precision medicine, MSK has spearheaded numerous treatment advances over the years. Two particularly noteworthy triumphs include the revolutionary checkpoint inhibitors and the formidable "living drugs" known as CAR T cells but this type of research requires funding.

The Shah family would be grateful for any donation so that this superb facility can continue doing its vital work.
