The condition almost always results in the death of the baby and leaves the mother suffering from a range of health problems including chronic incontinence.

Global Ones programme, Repairing Hope, improves the lives of women suffering from fistula through treatment and awareness raising. Global One provides treatment for fistula to women in impoverished communities in Kenya and Nigeria that would otherwise not have access to treatment.

Global One is also providing medical workshops for local healthcare professionals in fistula relief surgery.
