The RNLI provides a seasonal lifeguard service on seven beaches in South Devon. Our lifeguards share safety advice, provide first aid to those who need it, and save the lives of those who get in trouble in the water.

Story

This summer on the 8th and 9th of July a team of RNLI Lifeguards will be taking on the challenge of running 2.5km every hour for 25 hours. This is to celebrate 25 years of the RNLI Lifeguard service.

All of the money raised will help to ensure the lifeguards are provided with the best equipment and training to continually improve and will go directly towards supporting the lifesaving work of the RNLI lifeguards covering the beaches in South Devon.

This event will take place at Bantham Beach starting at 6pm on the 8th and ending at 7pm on the 9th so please come and support if you are nearby!

Donations of any size are massively appreciated.

Thank you,

RNLI South Devon Lifeguards
