Story

In April in was 5 years post treatment, I was lucky and made a full recovery, others are not so fortunate, and I ride for them. This is a cruel illness, and the treatment often seems worse disease. Please support me in any way you can, even if it is just moral support. Thank you, Bob

A bit more about the charity:

Les Bourgs Hospice provides free, specialist palliative care to its patients and their loved ones 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. It may be for complex respite or symptom management as well as end of life care and bereavement support.

In 2024 we saw an increase in demand for our services due to a complexity of life limiting illnesses other than just cancer. We have also seen more young people with younger families spend their last days and weeks cared for by our nursing team.

Every penny raised by our community really does count in making a difference to what we can do now but also to help ensure the future of hospice care in the Bailiwick of Guernsey - the care we would all want for our loved ones and the care we think that our community deserves.
