This is the biggest fundraiser in the Les Bourgs Hospice calendar so one that cyclists should feel proud to be part of.

Over the years the event has made a significant contribution to the running costs of the Hospice and this year more than ever is an important one.

In 2024 we saw an increase in demand for our services due to a complexity of life limiting illnesses other than just cancer. We have also seen more young people with younger families spend their last days and weeks cared for by our nursing team.

To ensure that we can continue to deliver the highest standard of specialist palliative care and support to our patients and their loved ones we have strengthened our nursing team. This means that our costs have gone up so every penny raised by our community really does count in making a difference to what we can do now but also to help ensure the future of hospice care in Guernsey - the care we would all want for our loved ones and the care the community deserves.
