Coordinated 3 Peaks Challenge · 7 June 2024

We are delighted to partner with Project RECCE CIO to support veteran transition into the construction industry whilst also helping to reduce the skills shortages within the industry as part of their structured, three phase programme.

Story

To honour the 80th Anniversary of D-Day this year, our Armed Forces community (Mulberry Network) and wider Balfour Beatty employees are undertaking the National Three Peaks in collaboration with our corporate charity partner, Project RECCE.

Project RECCE enables service leavers to gain sustained employment in the construction industry to support veteran transition and reduce construction skills shortages.

But this year, the challenge will have a difference!

On 7 June 2024, the selected teams will be scaling the three highest peaks across all three regions – Scotland, England, and Wales – in the first ever coordinated event… at the same time and Comms permitting conduct a video dial in!

3 of the Co-Chairs from the newly formed Mulberry Network will be leading the teams up the 3 peaks.

• Scafell Pike, in England (978m), Christopher Moore

• Ben Nevis, in Scotland (1345m), Paul Rees

• Snowdon, in Wales (1085m), Robert Johns

Balfour Beatty will also match the donations generated for this event.
