Story
I've been putting in for the London Marathon ballot for about 15 years and this year it came through, the year I'm turning 50!!!!! Eek!!!
I've done 16 Half Marathons with the most recent in the Forest of Dean last year. This is my first (and definitely last!!) full Marathon (never ever again!! Training's tough!)
My daughter Isla, who is autistic, has found that Incredible Kids helped her through some very difficult and tough times in her life, particularly when she had to move Schools in Year 10.
She needed somewhere that she could go to relax and be herself and the sessions at Incredible Kids did this in spades. The Volunteers are amazing! They always make us feel at home and understand the challenges that families with a child who has additional needs can face, offering support, help, advice and also a fun time.
This is vital when outside pressures feel a lot - it can make all the difference to have somewhere that offers kindness and understanding, when everything else can feel like a bit of a struggle!
