Story
I’m doing the sleep-out to raise money for Bromley Homeless this year. I’ll be sleeping out on the open in the church yard at Bromley Parish Church to highlight the situation many face and raise money to support them. For me it’s one night in a fairly safe environment. But for them it can be many more and very dangerous.
Homelessness can happen to anyone — a broken relationship, a lost job, or a sudden rent rise can leave someone without a safe place to sleep.
Last year alone, Bromley Homeless supported nearly 2,000 people in crisis.
With no government funding, we rely entirely on the generosity of our community to enable us to continue fighting for those with nothing. We offer our clients hot meals, shelter, clothing, medical care, counselling and we have a 98% success rate in finding accommodation.
By fundraising for Bromley Homeless, you are not just helping people survive the night — you are giving them the chance to rebuild their lives and find hope again.
Together, we can help turn despair into possibility.
God Bless
Rob
