Hi, we're the Robson family. Welcome to our Miles that Matter page raising much needed funds for the Anne Robson Trust.

We are some of Anne's children and grandchildren.

As many of you will know, in 2018, Liz (Anne’s daughter) set up the charity to provide companionship and comfort to people who are dying. You can read more about the charity's work here: www.annerobsontrust.org.uk.

This September, we're taking on a joint fundraising campaign called Miles that Matter. As a team, we have decided (in a moment of madness) to run, walk, cycle, row and swim over 400 miles between us… and every single mile will really matter.

We’ll be doing our Miles that Matter at home and on holiday! We want to have fun, raise awareness and raise funds for a great cause that, eight years on, is still doing such brilliant work and is still so close to our hearts.

Our intrepid team is:

- Rosie (Anne’s granddaughter) - Target: walk or swim 50 miles

- Kate (Anne’s granddaughter) - Target: run/walk 50 miles

- Andrew (Anne’s son) - Target: Row 70 miles

- Cath (Anne’s daughter) Target: Walk 50 miles

- Lara (Anne’s granddaughter) and Ben (her boyfriend) Target: Walk 50 miles each

- Jonty (Anne's grandson) - Target: Run 32 miles

- Liz (Anne's daughter) - Target: Walk or swim 50 miles

We’ll post updates on this page throughout the month of September, letting you know how far we have got, sharing photos of us in action and sharing any challenges we have faced along the way. We would love you to support us by making a donation in memory of Mum/Grandma.
