I'm cycling 1,200 km in 90 hours for Oxford’s Peep Imagination Library
On 20th August this year I'm hoping to ride 1,200 km (745 miles) in less than 90 hours, and raise at least £5,000 for the children’s education charity, Peeple.
All the money raised will fund books for the Peep Imagination Library, which gives books to children in the Leys, Littlemore, Rosehill and Berinsfield areas of Oxfordshire.
The Imagination Library is a book-gifting programme set up by Dolly Parton to increase the number of children’s books in families’ homes. Each child receives a free book to keep, every month from birth to five, delivered directly to them at their home address.
Having books at home makes a real difference to babies' and children’s development and gives them a flying start in learning to talk and read, and extends their language.
The ride in August is the oldest cycling event in the world, Paris-Brest-Paris. In order to qualify I also have to complete four rides, of 124 miles (200 km), 186 miles (300 km), 250 miles (400 km), and 373 miles (600 km) between January and June.
Peep have already distributed over 50,000 books to families in Oxfordshire. Please give whatever you can to help this fantasitc charity reach even more children.

Why is the target £4535? Well, we started the campaign on a different fundraising site, and raised £465. So the full target is actually £5,000.
