Bromley Youth Music Trust (BYMT) is an Outstanding Music Trust who help thousands of people learn and share the wonderful gift of Music making.

The BYMT Young Musicians' Bursary supported young people with 7,280 free 1-1 lessons last year. To continue helping more young children whose families wouldn't otherwise be able to pay for music lessons, we need to raise £85,000 each year for the BYMT Bursary Scheme.

I’ve spent over 50 years enjoying the gift of music; it has enriched my life, given me a career and many wonderful experiences, travel opportunities, lots of friends, brought joy to others and so much more.

As a child I was given an instrument, lessons and membership of groups and I’m running The London Marathon in April 2026 to give something back.

I’m helping children join the amazing BYMT family through tuition, access to instruments and musical groups to help them learn, join in and receive all the wonderful things the gift of music brings.
