Story

Thank you for visiting my page.

This year, I’m taking on the Royal Parks Half Marathon during Baby Loss Awareness Week and fundraising for Abigail’s Footsteps — a charity that supports families facing the unimaginable loss of a baby.

Your donation will help fund specialist baby‑loss counselling for parents and families, training for midwives and healthcare professionals so care is always compassionate, and specialist equipment that gives parents precious time with their baby. Together, these services offer comfort when it’s needed most and help families begin to find their way through grief.

Every gift, large or small, makes a real difference. If you’re able to donate or share this page, you’ll be helping to ensure no family has to face this journey alone. Thank you so much for your kindness and support.

Your impact:

£5 - Can provide an SD card for a camera, allowing parents to take precious images of their baby home with them from the hospital. This small amount can make a huge difference.

£25 - Can purchase an Abi Cooling Cot liner, offering comfort and care during a difficult time. Our liners are crucial for the bereavement teams to use, improving the aesthetic of a cooling cot.

£100 - Can fund two Professional Reflective Occupational Practice (PROP) sessions, supporting professionals who provide care in the most challenging circumstances.

350 - Can provide specialised baby loss counselling sessions for parents, helping them navigate the grief of losing a baby. Our award winning counselling service is essential to our main aims.

£1250 - Can cover bespoke bereavement training for up to 40 midwives or care professionals, equipping them with the skills to offer essential support during times of loss.

£3000 - Can purchase an Abi Cooling Cot for a hospital. Every hospital should have this crucial resource, which extends the time parents have to say goodbye to their baby.
