Growing up in Manchester, I left school at 16 and spent 8 months unemployed after loosing my mum feeling completely written off. That experience stayed with me, and it's why I'm proud to lead RISE UP: to ensure young people facing barriers get the chances I didn’t have.

I'm taking on the Edale Skyline Challenge - 21 miles of Peak District peaks (and bogs!) - to raise funds and awareness. Nearly a million young people are unemployed right now. That’s not just numbers that’s wasted talent.
